We introduce MOVIE CLASS!!!

*Introduction

Hi!! I’m going to introduce about Movie Class!!!!!
In movie class, we learn about film words and analyzing characters and synopsis.
We are watching “Forrest Gump.”
It released in 1994. This movie introduce Life of Forrest Gump; his love, challenge, childhood, and successful business etc. Also, we are able to know America in 1970’s, 1980’s.

Our Movie class teacher is … Sam!!
As you know, he is good at Salsa dancing!! He is always active and positive. Also, he makes us happy and pleased!!

*What do we learn in This Move class?

*How To Teach

1. First, we watch the video 30 minutes and then talking about movie.
2. We have lots of homework.
- Such as Introducing my favorite genre, actor, actress, movie, Comparing characters, Making general & Detail questions, Searching famous movie lines, Mind mapping & brainstorming about characters etc.
3. Teacher (Sam) asks us some general questions every time. We have to analyze movie, character, situation, lines and so on.

*Our Opinion
Chan-Mi Joo: My favorite thing in this class is watching movie. I like Tom Hanks’ pronunciation and intonation. We can learn many things through the movie such as English (film words, famous lines), Western cultures and history etc

Min-Jung Ma: When I want to take a rest, I usually watch the movie. I love movie so much. So, the movie class is impressing. Especially, Sam who is the teacher gives fun to students. He gives student a buzz. If you attend this class, you can learn a lot.

Mi-Seon Choi: Movie class is a chance to understand American culture. I was impressive that American people had difficulty solving many kinds of problem. Also, I had watched this movie, but I can remember only one scene that Forrest run to the place he wants to go. So, I’m glad to watch and study “Forrest Gump.”

English Immersion Camp!!!

Part 1. Many Kind of Tasks

In English Immersion camp, there are many kind of tasks. I always have to do boring homework like Calculating PER, DDM etc. (Even if It is important to my major, I cannot help say "boring")
I can do many kind of homework; Speech, Blogging, Analyzing Movie and making Presentation etc.
During 3 weeks, they are very hard for me, but I can say they make me excited.


Part 2. Various Activity
In this camp, I can experience many activity. For instance, Salsa practice is impressive than I thought. Because I'm not good at dancing, I worried about learning salsa. However It is little bit difficult to stay stepping and turning, it was a very fantastic experience.

Part 3. Good Teachers

I'm very impressive because of Good teachers. All teachers always teach us and answer my questions. And they teach me English skills-Writing and Speech- and give me many imformation.

I had several chances to meet native speakers. But I can't talk to them very well because I don't know how to communicate with them. Therefore, in this camp, I'm able to know how to communicate with them. Also, I can understand they have their own personality and characters.

Thank you for teaching us for three weeks. I can not forget your lectures forever. Thank you!!

5 Flavors got retired in Baskin&Robbins!!

I read the news article about Baskin&Robbins this afternoon.

News said 5 flavors of ice cream is retired and disappeared in this company. I think this 5 flavor might not sell very well and people tastes changed.

I don't like Baskin Robbins because of high prices, but people who like 5 flavor ice cream will be disappointed.

One of these Ice cream - I forgot names- is selling in Korea.

Baskin Robbins is making new product. Also, If consumers want Ice cream which is retired, they would sell again.
